Emergency Veterinary Services
During our regular business hours, animals are seen on a medical priority basis, allowing those with more life threatening injuries or illnesses to be treated first. We encourage phone calls to make our staff aware of a patient’s expected arrival. Visiting hours for in-patients are at the discretion of the attending veterinarian.
Veterinary Referral Services

Discharge, transfer or referral for your pet is determined on a case-by-case basis in cooperation with your family veterinarian. All in-patients will need to be transferred to their family veterinarian’s hospital by 8:00am Monday through Friday.
Fees and Payments
A cost estimate for the recommended services will be provided when you arrive with your pet. Any questions should be discussed before care is provided. Payment is due at the time of services. We accept all major credit cards, including Care Credit. We gladly accept Care Credit and ScratchPay as additional options for our clients.
EMERGENCY ASSOCIATE VETERINARIANS – NEW HAMPSHIRE
ER associate veterinarian positions available - whether you want to live in the Lakes Region, near southern NH cities, near the Seacoast, closer to Boston, or somewhere in between, you can have the flexibility to decide which of 3 locations is best for you. Veterinary Critical Care, PLLC is a privately-owned company with multiple ER, and specialty practices in New Hampshire. We have immediate openings in the Lakes Region and the Seacoast, and future openings in southern New Hampshire to build your dream job as an emergency clinician.
Our ER associates work only 5 shifts every 2 weeks (60 hours) with a generous base salary of $85-100K based on experience. Meredith Veterinary Emergency Hospital, in the beautiful Lakes Region of NH, is seeking one dedicated and enthusiastic veterinary technician and one customer service representative to join our team. Schedules would include weekends, overnights (for technician) and holidays on a fairly distributed, rotating basis. MVER prides itself in providing a high level of care to both our patients and clients; therefore, the right candidate should be dedicated to providing the best medicine and customer service. Candidates must have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to the ever-changing workload of emergency medicine. A minimum of 2 years experience is highly suggested for these positions.
